Inky dark in colour and beautifully fragrant with hints of violet and wild-berry aromas and flavours. Palate is super succulent with tannins that really stack in fine, powdery style. 
Finish is dry but really draws flavours of raspberry and boysenberry that hold.

The nose exhibits plum and orange rind with spicy and savoury undertones. On the palate, expect plum and spices, backed up with savoury notes and a lengthy elegant acidic finish. 

Blaufränkisch

Grape varietal that produces wines of superb quality in its homeland of Austria, here in Australia Hahndorf Hill was the first producer of Blaufrankisch in Oz and completely knock it out 
the park. Beautiful nose of blue-brambly fruit and spicy black cherries. 
Extraordinarily smooth and fine on the palate with gentle fruit and textured tannin.

Deep purple and it shows very youthful aromatics, florals, roses, cherries, and mulberries. Good structure on the palate with plenty of dark fruits in the mix and a touch of black pepper.

Mataro is often regarded as the backbone of Barossa winemaking. Usually blended with other varieties, it bestows spice, depth and roundness.

The Eastern Slope was planted in 1966 on red volcanic clay soils, over weathered limestone. The dry-grown fruit was cold soaked, fermented in open concrete fermenters with wild yeast,

Packed with sixteen individually distilled botanicals, including fresh pears from Orange NSW, rose petals, elderflower, pronounced juniper and distilled honey direct from local beehives.

Archie Rose Rye Malt Whisky                            $18 Nip
This unique whisky has been created from highly sourced rare, malted rye and some of the finest malted barley from progressive malt houses. This is then paired with virgin American oak casks that have been first air-dried for 36 months and let to mature in the maritime air of coastal Sydney. This is a layered, aromatic spirit offering notes of spiced custard, ginger, stone fruit and baked apple pie with a fresh herbal finish that lingers on the palate.


Starward Distillery | Melbourne, Victoria
With a chosen ethos on using used red wine barrels to mature their whisky, Starward aim to make rich whiskies aimed for those who love their food. With their ingredients sourced locally only a few hours drive from Melbourne they then age their whiskies for only three short years in what they like to call elemental maturation allowing the wildly varied weather of Melbourne to play a large part in the aging process.

Made from a mix of Australian double grain both malted barley for depth and wheat for aromatics and dry finishing flavour. This is a smooth silky whisky with spicy vanilla, tropical fruits and cereal characters rounded with red apples and berries. 

Starward Nova Single Malt Whisky                        $13 Nip
A fruity double distilled single malt made with Australian barley and craft brewers’ yeast for extra flavour.  Exceptional length thanks so the red wine barrels. Bright aromatic notes of red berries, orchard fruits, vanilla, caramel, and soft oak spice.
